Receiving porcelain veneers is a non-invasive procedure. You can achieve a beautiful, blemish-free smile, while maintaining the integrity of your existing teeth.
When you practice good oral hygiene, your veneers could last between 10 and 30 years. The best materials and techniques are used to ensure your veneers are strong and secure.
The process begins with an initial consultation with our specialist Dr. McFarlane. He will discuss any concerns you may have, as well as ensure that you are a good candidate for this treatment. Photographs and a digital 3D scan will be taken for documentation and treatment planning.
Using our 3D technology we are able to produce a rendering of your customized veneer design. Shape, shade, and size are considered a team effort, encouraging your input along the way. When you are happy with the design, your temporary veneers can be produced! A thin layer of enamel is prepped, and the preliminary (temporary) veneers can be placed. Consider this your test drive – wear your temporary veneers, and make adjustments as needed.
Once your custom veneers have been designed, they are ready for final placement. A bonding agent will be applied to ensure strength and durability. The process is complete, and you will have the smile of your dreams!
